
On seeing the Epiphone, Marriott recognised it as the guitar he had recently sold to a London guitar dealership and requested another jam session with it. Soon after purchasing the present guitar in 1974, John Turnbull returned to the Lots Road studio in Chelsea, where Steve Marriott and Ronnie Lane of the Small Faces visited on the same day.
